What:  City Sprouts Children’s garden 

When: Saturday, August 6th, 2011

Where:  Meet at the picnic table on the north side of the garden.

Time: 10:00am-11:30am

This week we will be getting up close and personal with insects.  We will learn the difference between beneficial and harmful insects in our gardens and how to keep the harmful ones away without using chemicals.

Children will hunt down insects within the garden.  Those who are brave enough can examine them under a magnifying glass.  The rest of us will simply examine a garden pest poster!

Snack will be provided!  All are welcome.  Material for this class is appropriate for all ages!
