This workshop will be presented in collaboration with NRCS staff, including the state outreach coordinator, urban conservationist, and soil health experts. The workshop will provide critical information to attendees on the services provided by the NRCS, eligibility requirements for NRCS assistance and program, accessibility (i.e., interpretation services) offerings, and more. This workshop is geared toward beginning and experienced urban farmers (for-profit and nonprofit) who are interested in learning more about common resource concerns, collaborative conservation planning, available conservation practices, free technical assistance, grants and funding opportunities, and other programming offered by the NRCS.
