City Sprouts in the News: Local farmers invited to attend Alamo screening of 'The Biggest Little

Alamo Drafthouse has invited local farmers to come to the opening of “The Biggest Little Farm,” a documentary about first-time California farmers.

City Sprouts and the Nebraska chapter of the Sierra Club will be on site, with more partners to be announced soon. The partners will educate moviegoers about their local work in farming and nature.

The movie, filmed over the course of eight years, follows novice farmers John and Molly Chester as they move onto 200 acres of land, naively endeavoring to build one of the most diverse farms of its kind.

They battle wildfires, droughts, coyotes and more in the hopes of creating the farm of their dreams.
