This summer, Lone Tree Foods (LTF) has provided our interns and team leads with weekly food boxes thanks to the help of the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box program! So far, this program has helped distribute over 85 million food boxes to families around the country since May.
Interns have loved receiving the variety of locally-grown produce and dairy products and taking these boxes home to share with their families. We are so grateful to the Lone Tree crew, to LTF owner, Justin Jones, and the USDA for providing a pipeline for local farmers to share their food with our interns, and families across Omaha and beyond!
